From Hot Springs To Lubbock Texas

I have been able to get a few pictures from on our trip from Hot  Springs, Arkansas to Fort Towson. Oklahoma, then on to Lubbock Texas. These were really travel through areas,  but were worth the time. Most nights we just stayed overnight. Slowly the weather has changed from rain to sunny. The temperatures are still not warm enough for me, but getting there.
This fellow used his boat to camp in while staying in Hot Springs, Arkansas

Had to use a ladder to get in and out. Sure wouldn't want to have to  climb down to use the comfort station during the night.

One last bath at Hot Springs

This was at Raymond Grey State Park in Towson, Oklahoma. There was a lot of damage to this park from last years tornados that tore thru the state. Trees went down but skipped over the campground and cabins there.

This tree stump has been redesigned to be a seat

Here is Bill checking out the seat. Pretty clever.

Belle is sending these swans her stink eye to keep them from getting on her shore!

This was a neat old service station along the way to Lubbock, Texas

Enjoying a beautiful sunset along the way!

The Nature Center in town is a beautiful spot for residents of Lubbock to come for an evening stroll with the family. Plenty of ducks, birds and turtles.

A warm evening catches these guys enjoying the end of their winter

Feed cans are all over the place and visitors can make sure the feeders are full. It was really a beautiful  place.
