Our Littlest Princess

We had a busy week in spite of the cool weather. Our first night at the camper was getting Eleanor situated and finding a good place to keep her pacifiers. She had a small case with toys, some books and movies for quiet time. They really were for us, when we needed quiet time. We bundled up, took Toby for a walk, cool, but it was like our late fall. Georgia still has those fall leaves that crunch under your feet.

Finishing breakfast with Papa.

One of the park hosts told us about this nature park about seven miles from here. It was called Dauset Nature Center. It is an animal refuge, gardens, and has a beautiful little Farm with petting zoo. And a playground, life is good. It really had the best collection of animals you hardly get close enough to see at a zoo. The park keepers were very anxious to chat and Little Missy (Eleanor) was charming.

No, she is not in jail

Catch me Papa

Just realized all my pictures of the nature center are on my  phone. Dang.

The next day, we did a little shopping at the closest Walmart. We needed a few groceries and milk. We picked up some chocolate syrup for the milk for warm  hot chocolate. Later we can use it on vanilla ice cream, before Lent of course.

The sun was out most days and this was no exception. We packed a lunch, and the stroller and headed back to Atlanta to go to the zoo. Eleanor is so easy and she will eat whatever I give her. Peanut butter with orange marmalade jam was on today’s menu. We had fruit, water and carrots, really!

Pretty in pink

This is close enough

These guys looks very content

Loving the sun. What a life!

The Atlanta Zoo has a great Panda exhibit. They have two young pandas, I believe they are twins. They were not camera shy and Eleanor was determined to see them.

What’s happening?

The animals at the Atlanta Zoo looke robust and healthy. The exhibits are small but challenging and stimulating for the animals. The weather was cool so they were active. There were plenty of docents around to answer questions and seemed to love what they were doing. I did think the landscaping is not as nice as Detroit’s Zoo, but it is winter here and everythings brown.

Does it count as touching if your hand is under mine, Papa.

I am not loving this, but ok, I’ll do it.

Ok, maybe she is cute!
You just have to cross a bridge when you see it!

It was a very good day.

Headed back to the campground and had time to take Toby for a walk. Eleanor got a shower and we watched a movie until bedtime. Oh,what will we do tomorrow? Whatever we want of course.

Hope this post finds all well.  Take care. Love to all!

God Bless America!

Who was the only real person to be a Pez head?
