Well, we are at a spot in Uvalde, Texas. It is called that because of the beautiful Live Oak Trees. They are magestic and huge with branches as large as tree branches. It is amazing that the branches can hold the weight and curl the way they do down to the ground and then curve back up
These little guys are right outside our camper. They are beautiful.

I think I spoke about this campground in my last post, and here are a few pictures from there.
This a look at the diamond field. Looks just like a farmers field after planting but actually they till the field once a month to try to bring more diamonds to the surface. After a heavy rain, the other stones like agates, jasper, mica,and bits of lava are washed away and the diamonds stay on the surface because they are a heavy stone.
After you collect your stones you take them to this building to wash the dirt away and see what we found. Well, we were not fortunate enough to find a diamond but it was a fun day.
This is the front of the visitors center where you get your digging equipment and instructions.
